Skoda Fabia Scout is the upcoming affordable price compact SUV in India . Skoda , a subsidiary of Volkswagen , already has Fabia hatch-back car in India . Skoda is targeting the sub-10 lakh SUV market segment in India which currently has only Indian companies SUVs like the Mahindra Scorpio , Xylo , and the Tata Safari . Most of the International auto companies has the SUV’s in the 15-20 lakh price segment like the Hyundai Tucson , Toyota Fortuner , Mitsubishi Outlander , Chevrolet Captiva , and Skoda’s own Yeti .
Skoda Fabia Scout will be a robust built car like its hatch-back sibling Fabia . It will not be much spacious like the premium SUVs but will still have enough internal space and also large boot . It is expected to be powered by a 90bhp 1.6-litre TDI diesel engine and 1.6 L MPI petrol engine (similar to Fabia hatchback) .
Skoda brand is not much popular in India (Volkswagen popularity is rising) mainly due to high price tag vehicles and bad after sales and service . The Fabia would have been a hit if the Skoda service (franchise) was competitive (satisfactory) like that of Maruti and Hyundai in India .

The new Skoda Fabia Scout Price in India will be less than Rs.10 lakh . It is expected to be launched in this year .
