Mumbai: The Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, who have formed a couple until recently, are now about to fight it out! The two will have their films released on the same day, worldwide. “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” in which Katrina Kaif stars opposite to Imran Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Rockstar” will be hitting the theatres at the same time.
This came rather unexpected, since “Rockstar” was scheduled for August. The producers have changed the date because they did not want to compete with the highly awaited flick by Salman Khan, the remake of the popular “Bodyguard”, since this film will be released during Eid. Considering the last two films released during Eid, “Wanted” and “Dabangg” were great successes, taking by storm the box office. Therefore, Imtiaz decided to release “Rockstar” in July, but the music is not ready, and will probably not be done by then. A. R. Rahman and Imtiaz Ali are working hard on it as we speak.
Yash Raj Films will release “MBKD” in September, at the same time as “Rockstar”. This will be interesting to watch!
