Hrithik admits he needs a break
First it’s Shah Rukh Khan who we hear has been taking acute risks with his legs in spite of a knee injury. Now we hear it’s another superstar. Is Hrithik overdoing the acting and dancing? He admits he needs a break. You could say it’s long ‘Diu’.
On Friday evening Hrithik Roshan frantically scuttled between the small scenic island of Diu in Gujarat where the climax of Agneepath is being shot, and Mumbai where he had to return to shoot episodes of a dance reality-show that he judges.
With no connecting flights between Diu and Mumbai at a suitable time Hrithik flew in on Friday evening by a chartered plane to shoot the entire night for the dance show before returning to Diu to resume the shooting of Agneepath the next morning.
Not the best way to focus on work, specially for a perfectionist like Hrithik. The actor who likes to focus ferociously on whatever he’s doing is currently going through the most tumultuous scheduling scramble in the history of his career.
Apparently neither Hrithik nor his director Karan Malhotra are too happy with Hrithik moving back and forth.
Says a source, “Both Hrithik and the director are equally stressed about the interruptions in the dramatic and tense climax. The entire unit of Agneepath has been shooting on a set specially erected by Sabu Cyril since the beginning of June.
Diu is a sensitive area. There is an air-base nearby. Permission to shoot has been attained after much effort. Hrithik is not happy leaving behind the shooting. His commitment to the dance show is breaking the rhythm on the location in Diu. ”
Says Hrithik, “Well, as much as we tried we could adjust the dates, so I’m working virtually like a machine between Just Dance and the Agneepath climax shoot, without breaks or any respite!”
Hrithik is exhausted, but determined to see the impossible schedule through.
Says the superstar, “It’s like doing three films at the same time! But as long as my day is filled with good work I am ready to take on even more. ”
Hrithik had to forego a trip to Toronto for an international awards function. Says Hrithik, “I think my first day off now would be in October. And boy, am I looking forward to that!I guess you’ve to be distanced from paradise to really understand what paradise means. ”

HR’s devotion for Just Dance
An upcoming dance reality-series “Just Dance’ has got all the ingredients to be a success. It takes dance to a whole new dimension as it will provide a global platform for dancers who endure their heart & soul for dancing. Not only that, it will also feature our very own Hritik Roshan, who will be debuting on small screen as a judge in this highly anticipated show along with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and director Farah Khan.
Either it’s the non-success of kites or the failure of Guzarish, no matter what but HR seems to retain his price & popularity in Bollywood industry. And rumors suggests that HR has surpassed Salman’s ‘Bigg Boss’ by a long way, as he will be paid an astounding ‘2.5 crores per episode’ by Just Dance.
The most versatile Hritik Roshan once again showed his love, passion and commitment for dance as he rehearsed five days for five hours for the promotional video of the show, which was choreographed by, HR’s co-judge in the show, Vaibhavi Merchant and directed by Arjun Salok.
“I am proud to be associated with the show. I believe competition pushes one to perform better.”Hritik said. No doubt Hritik is an spellbinding dancer, which will be another element of the show to look out for. Adding on HR acknowledged “The show will re-invent the whole concept of dance and unleash passion for dancing bringing in talent not only from India but from abroad as well.”
Just Dance looks very promising and with the presence of ‘Duggu’ aka Hritik Roshan, the show gets the salubrious zest that is all set to raise your heart beats on 18th of june 2011 on Star Plus & Star One.
