He landed in trouble when the legal administration penalized him for smoking in public place at the hotel. The situation came to light when the officials of the Patiala district administration noticed Salman’s photograph which was published in a daily which showed him smoking at a public place. The fine was issued in the name of Salman on a day that was coincidentally observed as World No Tobacco Day. A warning was also issued to the hotel authorities for the same. The notice was received by one of the crew member’s of the film on Salman’s behalf. Now, either the star or one of his representatives will have to appear before the district magistrate so that they can decide the penalty amount. To shoot for ‘Bodyguard’, Salman arrived in Patiala. Hotel Neemrana was shown as Kareena Kapoor’s residence. Bebo arrived a day before Sallu. Salman commented on his ‘Being Human’ official page on Facebook, “I am a heavy smoker but I don’t want you to write that. I don’t want your children to take up smoking just because I do. I smoke because I haven’t been able to kick the habit. Say no To Tobacco Please..It is Injurious to Health Once You get addicted and also Not Good for the People who think its cool to Smoke!” He was asked to pay fine of Rs 200 for smoking in public while shooting for his film ‘Bodyguard’ in Punjab. This is not the first time that Salman has been fined for smoking. Even in 2009, he was issued two notices for smoking at a public place in Kurali town in Punjab’s Mohali district.
