'Jackass' Star Ryan Dunn Dies in Car Crash

Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a one-car accident after a night out with friends early Monday morning. The reality show daredevil was 34.


Police said Monday that Dunn's Porsche flew over a guard rail around 2:30 AM near West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, before bursting into flames. Dunn was identified by his tattoos while his passenger, who also died, has not yet been identified. Pictures from the scene of the accident show that nothing was left of Dunn's car except for a charred piece of twisted metal that was pulled away by a tow truck.

Dunn's death was confirmed Monday morning by his Jackassco-star Bam Margera's mother, April, who called in to Philadelphia radio show Preston and Steve.

While his Jackass co-stars have yet to comment on his passing, "Ryan Dunn" was trending on Twitter this morning, and MTV released the following statement: "We're deeply saddened by the passing of a member of the MTV family, Ryan Dunn. Our hearts and thoughts are with his friends and family."
